I've included a couple of longer reference letters only because they show that real estate is not just about land and buildings, it's about people.  To those who were gracious enough to let me use these, I thank you.  It means alot to me.  Enjoy reading them!

As an addendum to the realtor survey sent today, I would like to add some thoughts.  In March of this year, my husband Dennis and I decided to begin looking for a home in the Maple Ridge area.  We had little idea of exactly what we wanted or where to begin.  The idea of moving after living in the same home in Richmond since 1973 was somewhat overwhelming.  On a recommendation from my brother who knew someone who had had a great realtor, we were given Mona's name.  She was pleasant, patient and thoughtful in our initial conversations, trying to get an idea of how to meet our needs and get us started.

Many things happened in the ensuing months and life kept catching up with us.  My father passed away in June, and Mona true to her nature, offered sympathy and kindness to us, my youngest son graduated from high school, I graduated from a Master's Degree at SFU, and we sold our Richmond home still not sure if we would find a home in Maple Ridge.  To complicate things further, we had a great number of trying and challenging experiences in our quest for a home.  Such things as failed septic fields, undisclosed easements, fisheries covenants, contaminated wells, and weird sellers, to name a few.  It seemed like there was no house in Maple Ridge we were meant to have.

I figured Mona was getting tired of us by then, but she happily persisted.  Through the course of our hunt, we have become friends.  The right house did come along, and we are still getting settled.  It is perfect for us.

I would recommend Mona Lamarche without hesitation.  I trust Mona implicitly.  She is professional, a super human being, brilliant in her understanding of real estate, dedicated to her clients, and most of all, a good friend.  How fortunate you are to have someone so special in your employ.
